Just Googled it today and found out that the anime series "Genji" based on the "Tale of Genji" by Murasaki Shikibu will start airing on the 15 of this month. Just looking at the commercial, I can't see any likeness to the Yamato Waki's famous manga adaptation they were originally thinking about basing the anime series on. I was looking forward to the anime adaptation of the Japanese manga "Asakiyumemishi" by Yamato Waki, based on the ancient classic "The Tale of Genji" by Murasaki Shikibu.
